The Fiber Optic Association has developed curriculum guidelines for training course approval and only approves schools or training organizations meeting our standards. Schools or training organizations which offer training which meets FOA standards are listed on this website and are authorized to offer FOA certifications.

Spectra Tech llc, previously know as Enulta Fiber Optics, is a fiber optic training and certification company.
We offer (CFOT, CFOS/O) certifications. Our CFOT course covers the following: Multiple Termination and testing methods using Optical Loss Test set Testing (OLTS) and OTDR, as well as fusion splicing, precision cleaving and troubleshooting.
This is a hands on course and we cover all best practices as well as build loss budget analysis. The purpose of this course is to introduce technicians to fiber optics as well as take them from a basic level understanding, up to an advanced understanding of real world applications and teach them how to trouble shoot their installed network; determine problems and then be able to find solutions for those problems using the test equipment and knowledge that they have learned in class.
Spectra Tech LLC offers specialized training on Outside Plant Systems installation and testing (CFOS/O). Emphasis is placed on closure splicing and management in outside plant installations. This is a hands on course, successful completion of this course leads to recognition as a Certified Outside Plant Technician (CFOS/O).
BICSI recognizes Spectra Tech LLC presented training and awards 22 CECs for the CFOT training.
