The Fiber Optic Association has developed curriculum guidelines for training course approval and only approves schools or training organizations meeting our standards. Schools or training organizations which offer training which meets FOA standards are listed on this website and are authorized to offer FOA certifications.

Skyline College is one of three sister colleges within the San Mateo County Community College District, in San Mateo County, California; the district is located on the peninsula in the San Francisco Bay Area. The Network Engineering Technology Program (NETX) is a CTE education program within the Division of Science Math Technology at Skyline College. The NETX program was originally founded as a telecom program more than twenty years ago. The NETX curriculum provides students with a practical and theoretical, hands-on education in Network Engineering Technology.
