EET 108 Intro to Fiber Optics is designed to prepare participants to work in the fiber optics field within the aerospace industry. Participants will learn to work safely with materials used in fiber optics, while learning to handle materials properly during the routing, installation, assembly, cleaning, and inspection processes required within the aerospace industry. Prerequisites: High school algebra. Computer Fee. This class has been updated to include fiber optics for the IT industry, as well as the aerospace training. We train you in the use of the Fluke Networks’ DTX Cable Analyzer. Learn to polish, clean, inspect, and safely handle fiber optic cabling.
