The Fiber Optic Association has developed curriculum guidelines for training course approval and only approves schools or training organizations meeting our standards. Schools or training organizations which offer training which meets FOA standards are listed on this website and are authorized to offer FOA certifications.

This is a 3 week course that was designed to give students intensive hands on training,in fiber optics cabling and structured cabling, get them CFOT certified and Help place them in a Job.
We have been offering this course for 19 years and have helped hundreds of people find a new rewarding careers in the Telecom industry.
This 15 Day course course covers Fiber connectors, fiber splicing, testing and setting up splice enclosures that are being used in OSP cabling. The structured cabling portion of this course is one week (5 days) and covers 66 and 110 block punch down exercises, RJ 45 jacking 568 A and B, testing and trouble shooting.
We have extensive lab including Fiber Splicing OTDR and fiber connectors.
The classes are offered at our training facility in Rosenberg at the Texas State Technical College
