Fiber Optic Training & Consultants Canada is an FOA approved training school located in the east coast of Canada. The instructor has 24 years of verifiable field level experience and a passion to teach people how to build broadband services, circuits and our specialty is telecommunications, mining and industrial environments. We offer FOA courses all across Canada and are proudly calling home in a world class fiber training center in Bedford Nova Scotia. Our focus is to give participants of the course the opportunity to see and use materials from many manufacturers. We have both an under ground plant containing micro duct for micro fiber (jetting) up to 2" conduit for rodding and roping. We also have a simulated aerial plant with poles and several gains. We customize the training to meet the needs of the participants, experience is strong in both the OSP and ISP. From wall mount panels, rack mount, Fiber optic splice closures to tethered plug and play systems, we can do them all. Need to learn to splice? We allow for participants to do both single and ribbon splicing. The room is designed so work can be tested. Testing is taught with OTDR traces (tier 2), iOLM, and tier 1. Fiber Safety is an important of our culture and we will share tips, tricks and proper PPE to use in order to be able to build networks with great competence. or more information, please don’t hesitate to reach out! info@fotc.ca
