The Fiber Optic Association has developed curriculum guidelines for training course approval and only approves schools or training organizations meeting our standards. Schools or training organizations which offer training which meets FOA standards are listed on this website and are authorized to offer FOA certifications.

Advanced Training Associates has offered Fiber Optic Certifications ranging from basic fiber to specialty fiber optic broadband installation/technician courses through theory and extensive labs from inside and outside plant through splicing, testing and FTTx with programs ranging from 1 to 4 weeks.
Advanced Training Associates (ATA) is accredited by the Council on Occupational Education concurrent with the Commission on International and Trans-regional Accreditation. The Council on Occupational Education is the predominant agency for accrediting Federal Institutions under the Department of Defense. Advanced Training Associates has been a trusted DoD contractor for over 13 years and already trains close to 600 active duty military personnel across the U.S. and abroad each year. They are approved by the Veteran's Administration, and their staff will handle all GI Bill applications, inquiries, and related matters.
Courses can be held at our location or we can travel to you any where in the world for a minimum number of students.
