Taihan Fiberoptics, previously under Taihan Electric, has been established in Korea in 1955 and manufacturing fiber and fiber optic cables since 1977. We have been supplying to all the major telecom companies in Korea and other countries such as Korea Telecom, SK Telecom, LG Telecom, Saudi Telecom, Argentina Telecom, Singapore Telecom, etc. We have been supplying to some of the US customers from late 2000s including Florida Power & Light, FPL Fiber Net, Eversource, REAs, Great Southwestern Construction, Tucson Electric, some municipalities, and the distributors such as Anixter/HD and Wesco.

Taihan Fiberoptics is a vertically integrated manufacturer of fiber optic products from bare fibers to cables to accessories. Our fiber manufacturing technology was originated from Sumitomo Electric back in 1984 and all our cables use our Telcordia-certified in-house fibers. The centralized production enables us to bring shorter lead time and rigorous quality management.
